Hello!

Hi, my name is Haley Farwell. I am originally from New Hampshire, but recently moved from Silverton, Colorado to pursue a Master's degree in Forestry at Northern Arizona University. I am part of the National Needs Fellowship program, which helps support my research. I am studying forestry with a focus in snow hydrology using a monitoring technique called snowtography. I am particularly interested in how forest structure impacts snow and soil moisture dynamics, especially following disturbance or forest restoration. I hope to help forest managers create more resilient forests and improve water resource management in our mountain regions.
